Royal Wedding 2011

Please select the year group relevant to you or your children.

The whole school came together for a very special celebration.

We hosted our very own version of the Royal Wedding.

As is always the case, a wedding needs lots of planning.

                           Cakes were made.

Dignitaries from around the world were invited and everyone was dressed in their best clothes.

As the bride walked down the aisle there were gasps heard from the congregation.

The groom was looking his best and a little nervous.

The priest (Played by a teacher) welcomed everyone and explained what a wedding would mean.

"The bible tells us that marriage is a gift from God, given so that people can care and help each other; that they canlive together in happy and sad times; that they can make a family and look after their children."

Following the ceremony the wedding party processed out to have their photgraphs taken.

Then it was off to the reception. These were held in the year groups and included toasts and

speeches.

After lunch the fun continued with a Wedding Party held in the hall with dancing and more speeches.
